...panic is now setting in...

I think deep down I really love the panic of a looming deadline - Bologna portfolio spreads/ images, loads of 'em...here's one...there needs to be many, many more.

This week I had to decide on my image for the catalogue that is being put together for our stand at Bologna Book Fair. It was so tough to choose one image - a snap shot that best describes you and what you do! eek! My work has changed so much over the past year and I look back at 'old' stuff and really dislike it now. This is the image I went for in the end...I have until March to put together 20-40 spreads for a portfolio that will also be there...oh my days!



What I should be doing....

.....is writing my essay....what I'd rather be doing is making a little girl's hat blow off....far more enjoyable!

Where is the time going......

I seem to have spent most of this year wishing it away....but hang on .... I'm enjoying it now so hopefully it will slow down?!?

It is allllready nearly Wednesday which can only mean one thing...final Crit!

I've been illustrating a beautiful poem by James Fenton called Out of Danger.

..on a windy Sunday afternoon..

..there is nothing better than some forest creativity. I had a wonderful blustery walk over to Hylands House this morning and am now very content with a Sunday roast in my tum and a very happy 'steaming' and newly bathed Badger curled up next to me.
